my name is Kathy...i have recently immigrated to the UK (London Richmond) from South Africa. It seems an attempt to move across the world in order to better my future is a lot more than i would have bargained for.... it would mean a lot to me if you could give me some advise on the following things thats been happening to me.
About four months ago I moved into an old house. among myself there were two other boarders...in my first week of moving in I began experiencing unexplained moments of what some people might say paranoia.
One night I got home from work around 12am, when I get home, the first thing I usually do is ring my partner which I did on this night. Whilst speaking to him I heard some one bang on my window, I ignored it as I just moved in and this could be a rowdy neighborhood, maybe it was just kids fooling around. But after a minute I stopped to realize that no one could have done this as I lived on the second floor of this house, it was impossible, but I gave myself a rational explanation for this and went to bed. Several minutes later my mobile rang it was a private number but before I answered it was cut off..when I proceeded to check my missed calls as thats what it would appear as, I was shocked to find out that there were no missed calls, little did I know it was just the beginning of something I have never really believed in.
I put aside what had happened the previous night and continued my busy daily routine although I still felt like someone was watching me all the time. It was a few days after that when my next encounter happened. I remember clearly it was a Sunday afternoon around 2pm, my landlord (Ted) also stayed in the house for a few weeks before he moved out and when he's not home he leaves his room door open all the time. On this particular day his door was closed so I assumed that he was home and was very relieved to have him there.
I noticed this as I have to pass his room to get to the bathroom, which I did thereafter I went downstairs to get some washing done. When I got back upstairs his door was wide open, by this time I was petrified, if he wasn't there then why was his door closed? and how did it open when there is no windows ever opened in the house because its always freezing even with the fire on. I ran into my room and did not come out all evening.
Days past and things got even more scary I couldn't tell anyone because who would believe me. I was the only person in my house being haunted by something or some one, by this time I knew whatever was there was getting stronger as the stairway lights would switch of and on by themselves
I would very often here someone or something walking around the house. One night when I was fast asleep I was awoken by someone trying to choke me, trust me I was trying to scream out with all my strength but I couldn't, my entire body was paralyzed, it pinned me down for maybe 3 to 5 minutes but trust me it was the longest five minutes of my life.
