I moved in with my fiance in June before our son was born. I'd been to his house many times before and he'd told me it was haunted. I didn't know whether or not it was true but I've always believed in ghosts so I just thought I'd wait and see if anything would happen.
I was sitting at the computer when I noticed that my fiance had suddenly gone very quiet, he was staring in the direction of the door, I looked and couldn't see anything so I asked him what was wrong. He replied "I've just seen the ghost". Later that day he said that he had seen it in the same place again, he told me it was wispy and an indistinct form.
His mother stayed in our house when I was in hospital after giving birth and in the middle of the night heard someone call her name. She called to John to ask what he wanted, when he did not answer she went to our room and found him fast asleep in bed.
When I'm in a room on my own I sometimes feel someone enter and see them out of the corner of my eye but when I turn around no one is there. The ghost's been more active since I had a baby so we think it's a protective ghost; we've never had any problems with it. It's a friendly ghost and we're happy to have it.
