Nunnington Hall Paranormal Activity
It seems that in recent times nearly all the rooms at Nunnington are experiencing paranormal activity. The attic is said to be one of the most haunted locations in the house, where children's voices can be heard whispering at night.
A young French lady came to stay at Nunnington hall and was given a bed in the Paneled Room. After a while, it became obvious that all was not well with the young lady and she confessed that she had hardly slept at all because she was terrified. She said that every night something black and shapeless came through the wall, passed slowly over her bed and went out through the window. Then, she said, she heard the terrified scream of a young boy, piercing the still of the night. She was given another bedroom and had no more disturbed nights.
Some guests have reported seeing ghostly black figures in the Paneled bedroom. There was a problem several years ago with the door slamming continuously through the night.
In some of the downstairs room's guests have reported hearing the sounds of a party in full swing but when they enter the room it is empty. Children's voices have been heard and books have been thrown across the room by an unseen entity. When TV's Most Haunted visited Nunnington Hall they picked up on just some of the paranormal activity at the Hall, ghost hunts at the building are now arranged through the year.
