hi! your story is a great read and i am looking forward to read more of your experiences and updates. i believe the best place to start is to do some research into the property and land. maybe even asking or talking to the previous owner/s of the property. there could also be something on the internet about your home or land. i feel that your place has a lot of history. maybe the land? also, just a little warning, be careful into ways you choose to communicate with the spirit/s. keep your home free from disharmony. like arguing, fighting, anything negative. i wish you and your family the best and good luck in finding some questions answered!!!!

i am a paranormal investigator and read your story with interest,i often here stories like this and i dont think you need to alarmed,you mention you are decorating/renovating,it could be your visitor was a previous owner wanting to know whats going on in their home, i would you recommend you take some quiet time imagine a white protective light all around you then tell the spirit you are there in peace you respect and love this house and you mean to take care of it,then ask the spirit to not be afraid and to go into the light,then thank it and close yourself off from the light and quiet time and do something very ordinary like make a cup of tea.i hope this is of some help to you, good luck would love to see your update after trying this. love and peace.

This is a very interesting story. however as such it will attract the open-sandal / corpse fetish mob. beware of anyone claiming to be able to explain what is happening to you. they were not there, remember. there are clubs for everything these days, including weirdoes it is not religious, it is not your fault, it is not your imagination. there is simply something happening that you cannot understand or explain, and nor can most other people. if you bear that in mind things will be a lot easier for you do you listen for / look for signs of this phenomena, or does it just arrive at random? good luck and all the best

An excellent diary of some rather inexplicable seeming phenomena. be glad that the manifestations have not taken a more malevolent theme. currently it seems likely that it is merely the shadows of the former occupants of the property being cast. i agree partially with tracey, it is very possible that they want to know why you are making changes to 'their' house. you would certainly be wise to research the area; if there is nothing on the internet or with the estate agents then just try asking the locals! god bless.
