Bright Orb, Bath, England
This image was captured in a local woodland, near to Bath during the autumn. Whilst out walking the dog late one evening with my girlfriend I noticed a small dot of light, darting in and out of the trees about 30 metres ahead of us.
We watched the light for 5 to 10 minutes before we lost sight of it. I managed to take a number of photos of the orb on my camera phone. At first i thought it might have been some sort of insect, but as it was the middle of October, it was unlikely that there were any insects left. Do you have any suggestions as to what caused the light?
